MKSPEC.CFLAGS_OPTBASE

This variable contains flags for the C compiler that enable basic optimizations. This comes from the QBUILD_CFLAGS_OPTBASE variable in qmake.conf. For optimizations that increase the code size, see MKSPEC.CFLAGS_OPTMORE. Note that you should assign the contents of this variable to QMAKE_CFLAGS_RELEASE for compatibility with qmake.
