Qt Extended Licensing

Qt Extended source packages are a combination of Qt and Qt Extended source code and both products may further include third-party components each having their own licenses. The following list provides more information:

1. Software compiled as part of Qt Extended - Qt Extended Licenses
2. Third-Party owned software that is compiled as part of Qt
3. Independent packages that may be added to enhance the capabilities of Qt - Third-Party Qt Licenses
4. Independent packages that may be added to enhance the capabilities of Qt Extended - Third-Party Qt Extended licenses.

Note: The Qt Extended applications qtmail and datebook are released under the GPL with the additional exemption that compiling, linking, and/or using OpenSSL is allowed.

Modification hints

If modifications are made to:

• Dual Licensed Software, this may effect your right to redistribute GPL Licensed Software that links with the Dual Licensed Software, unless the modifications are made available under the terms of the GPL.
• GPL Licensed Software, your right to redistribute that software is under the terms of the GPL.
• LGPL Licensed Software, your right to redistribute that software is under the terms of the LGPL.
• Very Free Software there are generally no constraints imposed upon redistribution.
